On the opening page of this site, you read about the reasons you should pre-plan a funeral, whether the funeral would be for a loved one or for yourself. These are common sense reasons that are difficult to dispute. We understand that there are a number of factors that make it difficult for anyone to tackle this. Among them are:

Procrastination

Denial

These are universal tendencies: naturally inherent in the human mind - protective devices conjured to avoid confronting something unpleasant. But, a growing number of people are seeing beyond these 'delaying factors' and are choosing to act.

They may be pre-planning for a close loved one or friend. Or, they may be acting for themselves because they have discovered that they are indeed capable of doing so. They are rising above fear, procrastination, denial and lack of knowledge to pre-plan because they want to relieve the added stress on their closest loved ones during the very peak of their pending grieving period.

We ask that you, too, rise above these negatives and make a commitment to pre-plan simply because you recognize that it is the right thing to do. Pre-planning is a responsibility given to us at birth.

We are alive! We, alone, are responsible for planning for our eventual passing on! Deep inside, we realize that this is not something we should burden our loved ones with.

Nowhere in our education system - grade school, middle school, high school or college - is there a class that teaches us how to adequately address this universal event in everyone’s life...
